02 02 10 - 22:48 After abit of bad weather, Full Moon and Warm Hard Currents things have sure gotten interesting!

31 Jan Sunday.

Stuart from the Clarendon Hotel and crew met us at the wharf and we were off.... As the prevailing winds were E/Nor Easters I decided to head Nth a natural logical decision! As we were travelling I noticed the current was abit quick and temp was rising till it stablised at 23-24 degrees C... Oh Ohh this is going to be tough. The water was the deepest blue Ive seen for months, it was like fishing in the tropics. We worked afew spots and it was spooky quiet with only the odd fish being caught.. A good flatty then nothing then a good morwong then nothing a Red and then again nothing! I should have trolled for Bonito from Sth Head to Bondi apparently they have been going off their heads balling up bait against the rocks "Bugger!" Sometimes the logical decisions are not always the right ones! if only I had that MAGIC CRYSTAL BALL ehy? So anyway it was Pursist and out came the wasabi and soy for some Sushi and better luck next time!
