As we approach the wharf I was thinking to my self, "What and how am I going to handle this one?" Well, I was suprised when introduced to six very keen and excited young lads with their dads. These fellas really want to learn and experiance what offshore bottom fishing is all about. We set off and started off the Gapp Sth Head in about 35 odd mtrs of water just to get the fellas orientated with the gear and the depth. Oh Boy, this didnt take long afew small flathead came on board and then one of the lads got a gooden! So I thought lets go to a better spot and see what happens.... Flathead and good ones these kids were into it bringing them in and making bets with each other egging each other on and competing with their dads then a Morwong and then a good Pigfish then more Flatties Awsome! It was a pleasure to have them on board and infact "Trevor if you catch this post leave the senior members of Donney Brook Fishing Club at home BRING on the kids" they were fantastic Well Done!
